You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Notify us immediately at descendconditioning@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
New users receive a 30-day free trial with full access to premium features. No payment is required during the trial period.
After the trial, continued access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Subscription options and pricing are displayed within the App.
Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. By subscribing, you agree to their respective terms and conditions.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your device's app store settings.
Refund requests are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play policies.

DESCEND is a fitness application, NOT a medical device. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information provided is for general fitness and training purposes only.
Before beginning any exercise program or using DESCEND:
Physical exercise carries inherent risks including injury, illness, or death. By using DESCEND, you acknowledge these risks and agree that:
DESCEND relies on external heart rate monitors (e.g., Polar H10). We do not guarantee the accuracy of data from third-party devices. Always verify readings feel appropriate for your perceived effort.
We are not responsible for any injury, health condition, or adverse outcome resulting from your use of the App or following any training recommendations.
If you connect with a coach through DESCEND:
Coaches agree to use athlete data only for legitimate coaching purposes and maintain confidentiality.
The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Descend Conditioning and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described therein.
The App integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, Anthropic (Claude API), Mapbox, Open-Meteo, and Polar/Coospo heart rate devices. These services have their own terms and privacy policies.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Descend Conditioning from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation, mediation, or binding arbitration in Queensland, Australia.
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through in-app notifications or email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
